The games and quizzes in Learning about Living use flash. To be able to see them you need a flash plugin.
There are two different versions available for download here:
Choose the right one for your system. It is a simple process.
Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/2003/Vista
Click on one of the links above to download the installer and save it at your desktop (for example). Afterwards go to the location you downloaded this file to (your Desktop) and double click on the file to start the installer. You may or may not have to close one or more browser windows to finish the installer.
