We make decisions every day, even every minute. Some decisions are small, like what shirt to wear, and some are large, like what career path to follow. Most small decisions can be made very quickly, and we can change our minds often. Sometimes, though, especially with the larger decisions, we need to spend time thinking about things before we come to a conclusion.The way we make decisions is often influenced by our values. That means that everyone will make decisions a little bit differently, and their decisions won’t necessarily be the same as the ones we would make in their position. The important thing to remember is that we need to respect their decisions, the same way we would want them to respect ours.
