We are many but One
We all talk and hear about our society, but do we really understand what defines our society or the cultures of our society? Who is a part of it, and how it affects us? Lots of times, we can’t even see the way our society is affecting us, but it does play a part in every decision we make, and every action we take.Nigeria is a richly diverse society. Every day in our society, we see people whose appearances, values, personalities, backgrounds, and ideas are different from our own. Because Nigeria is a country of many people with different customs, traditions, religions, and family styles, it is really important to understand what it means to respect diversities and appreciate our differences. Since we all live together in one society, acknowledging and discussing similarities and differences, can help us understand each other better.
